We are moving ahead with an ultimate aim to help each other become well-rounded individuals, excelling not only academically but also in other fields such as sports and arts. Ultimately, our community hopes to become a home-away-from-home for Vietnamese students in Singapore, providing moral support and lending a helping hand to each other in times of need. At the same time, we would embrace fresh and exciting ideas with enthusiasm that are set to fulfill the diverse interests within our community.
From its foundation 8 years ago, VNCNUS has been unceasingly growing and solidifying. Looking ahead, our future is as bright as ever, but is also a challenging one. With the current flow of students from Vietnam coming to NUS to study, the number of VNCNUS members is expected to surpass 1000 soon, with an ever-expanding network of alumni.
With our various yearly activities and initiatives, we have been successful in creating a strong communal bond among our members. While those activities will be continued with better organization in the future, we also aim to play a more active role in Singaporean society and the community where we live.
